Please join us as Marcia Hart shares tips for transforming the workplace in order to improve productivity and reduce costs.  In her presentation, Marcia will:

• Discuss how physical layout, tasks/activities and social dynamics (culture) are related.
• Advise how space requirements are affected by changes in technology (primarily digital information and mobility), workforce demographics, and work processes.
• Explore alternate floor plan solutions that incorporate new requirements and make excess interior square footage more useful.

Marcia Hart has dedicated her career to helping businesses and law firms optimize their office space for high productivity and cost savings.  Her current consulting practice, “Workplace 1080,” combines architectural design, financial analysis and organizational sensitivity when it's needed most, to support leasing decisions.  Roomtag, the workplace management software company that she founded in 2010, was acquired last year by Asure Software.  Ms. Hart is a registered architect with degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Design and Princeton University. Continuing education includes training in group dynamics and conflict resolution.  Ms. Hart lives in Baltimore, Maryland, in a 150 year old townhouse that she renovated from shell-condition. Now that it’s mostly done, her workshop is dedicated to making furniture.
