Richmond ALA is EXCITED to bring another community service event to our group.  We are all aware the James River Park System (JRPS) is a shinning gem of our city. 

On Thursday, September 11th, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm, we will be working with the Friends of the JRPS at the Huguenot Flatwater Park (8600 Southampton Rd, Richmond, VA 23235) for invasive species removal. We will be removing those big bad weeds, from our beautiful native trees!

JRPS will be providing all we need!  You should bring your own gloves, water, comfortable clothes and shoes for navigating the wilderness.  There will probably be a cool beverage stop after the event to reward us for all of our hard work!
