JOIN US AT HILTON NORFOLK THE MAIN FOR THE 2023 RETREAT

The 2023 Statewide Retreat will have three educational sessions on surviving an active threat, stop welcoming distractions, and overcoming imposter syndrome. You do need to register for the event but you don’t even need to register for your hotel room – We do that for you, too, just let Michael Keatts [email protected] know what type of room you want, and we will gladly do the rest (seriously, this way the chapter has all the rooms on one master bill).  

For new or newer members who may not have attended a Statewide Retreat, this is the one time each year that the four Virginia Chapters of ALA (Richmond, Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, and Western Virginia (Roanoke)) get together for educational sessions, an exhibit hall, 5-star rated meals, networking, and incredible prizes donated by our incredible business partners.  This extraordinary event is completely paid for by the Chapter—yes, it’s free to you.  The only cost is one day away from work and a small fee if you bring a guest/spouse (for their meals)!
