Betsy Davis, chair of the labor and employment section at Spotts Fain PC, will deliver an informative presentation on current changes affecting employers across the country. Topics to be touched on include white collar exemptions, independent contractor misclassifications, LGBT rights, and FMLA/ADA interaction.

Ms. Davis represents employers in state and federal courts in the areas of Title VII, age discrimination, fair labor standars, family and medical leae, wrongful discharge, covenants not to compete, breaches of employment contracts and handbooks, as well as other state and federal employment issues.  She also counsels and represents clients in investigation and defense of EEOC, DOL, and NLRB charges and VEC claims.
